I have always loved photographs since I was a young girl and have always enjoyed taking pictures.  I love taking pictures of my family and being able to freeze moments in time to enjoy later.  Besides taking pictures of my family, I love taking wildlife and landscape photography.  I enjoy taking the backroads when I travel and photographing God's beauty.  Photography has allowed me to look at the world in a whole new way.

I started taking pictures professionally in 2017 after my daughter asked me to take photographs during the delivery of my granddaughter.  Although I had taken pictures most of my life, I was nervous about how they would come out.  So I signed up for a photography class to learn more about my camera, which has peaked my interest even more in photography.  The experience of being in the delivery room for my granddaughter 's birth was amazing.  I wanted to capture every moment.  I was so glad that she asked me to take pictures because she ended up having a c-section and missed all of the "special moments".  Photography allowed me to capture those moments for her and allowed me to be "in the moment" for every step of the birth.   Photography has a way of making you slow down and really pay attention to everything that is happening around you.  Being able to capture those moments is priceless.
